The CHIPS Network leadership and governing bodies will operate through six foundational imperatives. Governance will be accomplished through a Governance Board (GB) comprised of: (1) HBCU members and affiliates, (2) Not-for-profit organizations, (3) Industry, and (4) Community representatives. The GB will be led by an Executive Committee (EC) as selected by the GB members and will consist of a chair, vice-chair, secretary, and treasurer and will be elected by the GB to 2-year terms. The EC will be responsible for executing the functions of the board and represent the board as required.
